Medway NHS Foundation Trust and Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust strengthen collaboration with joint leadership appointment

Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust's Chief Executive, Jonathan Wade is to become Chief Executive of both trusts for a six-month period from 1 April. The joint Chief Executive appointment represents a significant step towards closer collaboration, and recognises the pathways followed by patients from across north Kent, and the close working of the two organisations.

Norovirus spreads easily

Cases are at record highs in the UK and still rising. A strain shift means you can catch it again, even if you’ve had it this season.

Symptoms: Vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach cramps, high temperature.

Stop the spread:

Wash hands with soap and water – alcohol gel won’t work.
Stay home 48 hours after symptoms stop.
Avoid hospitals and care homes if unwell.
Clean surfaces with bleach and don’t prepare food for others.

Parking

Parking spaces at the hospital are extremely limited. To avoid congestion or waiting for a space, we recommend that you consider visiting the hospital via public transport where possible. Peak hours are from 9am - 3pm.

Parking is FREE for blue badge holders. There is a dedicated car park for Blue Badge holders although this gets very busy. Please avoid queueing for this car park and use one of the other car parks. You then just need to take your Blue Badge to the parking office who will validate your parking ticket.
