In an effort to keep pregnant women and their families safe during the Covid-19 pandemic , the Diabetes and Midwifery Team at DVH have made a video.
This video is aimed at newly diagnosed gestational diabetic women. It will guide them through diet, how to test their blood glucose levels, the effects of diabetes on pregnancy and care of the newborn including harvesting colostrum.
