We are due to start some essential replacement works on the cladding on the main entrance of the Emergency Department (ED) at Darent Valley Hospital on Monday 25 November 2024. The work is expected to last approximately one week.
Whilst these works are taking place, patients will not be able to access ED via its main entrance. Instead, there will be clear signposted access to the department via the ambulance entrance to the side of the building.
Please rest assured that despite these works, the Emergency Department services will be running as normal.
Access to the hospital via the main hospital entrance will remain open and unaffected.
We will issue an update when the ED entrance is reopened.
