Last week, a groundbreaking event was held at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) site in Dartford, marking a major milestone in the project.
The site has been fully cleared, and construction of the modular building is underway offsite. The new facility will soon be installed and operational, with handover scheduled for June 2025.
The interim CDC has already performed 22,000 additional radiology tests over the past year, accompanied by positive feedback from patients and staff. Our trust is among the top performers nationally in diagnostics, which is a testament to the dedication of our teams. The upcoming facility will significantly expand our diagnostic capabilities, which will operate 7 days a week, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, with an estimated 130,000 additional tests annually, covering both radiology and physiological measurements.
