We hope that needing to visit or stay in hospital will not prevent you from taking part in prayer and worship if you are able. We hold regular weekly worship in the chapel and hope that you will be able take part. If you are unable to leave the ward and normally receive Holy Communion, this is distributed on Sundays or at other times in exceptional circumstances. If you profess another faith, a member of the chaplaincy team can put you in touch with someone from your own faith community when they visit you on the ward.

Monthly Prayer Diary
The Chaplaincy team is here to offer pastoral, spiritual and religious support to the whole hospital community. We believe that prayer is an essential part of that support and over the course of a month we pray for all those who work in and visit the hospital’s departments and wards. We value the support of others in this prayer ministry and we would be delighted if you felt able to join your own prayers with ours.
