You can pay for your private treatment in a number of ways, including:
- Private UK medical insurance
- International insurance
- Self-funding your treatment
Private UK Insurance
The Trust must have confirmation of insurance cover prior to any treatment taking place. We accept payment from the following medical insurance providers:
- Aviva
- AXA PPP (inc. ex Simply Health policies)
- BUPA
- Cigna
- CS Healthcare
- Exeter Friendly Society
- Groupama
- Vitalityhealth
- WPA
If your insurance company does not appear on this list, please contact us.
Your UK insurance policy requires you to have a letter of referral from your GP. You will need to authorise your treatment with your insurer before the start of your treatment.
When you have an authorisation letter or number from your insurance company, we will arrange for your appointment or admission and the hospital costs will be invoiced directly to your insurer. We will ask you to complete an 'undertaking to pay' form confirming we can invoice your insurance company directly.
Self-Funding
We offer many package prices for a range of treatments. If you do not have private medical insurance and would like to pay for your treatment, we may be able to offer you a package price. Packages will be fixed for a certain number of days and will also include the professional fees of your Consultant and Anaesthetist.
The Trust must receive payment prior to any treatment taking place.
