With over 20 years of experience in the NHS, Dr Cheong is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiologist and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He holds leadership roles at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, including Medicine Clinical Director, Cardiac Imaging Lead, Medicine Clinical Director, and Co-Clinical Lead at the Community Diagnostic Centre. Dr Jun Cheong also holds an honorary consultant position at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and King’s College London.
Specializing in advanced cardiac imaging, Dr Cheong has extensive expertise in echocardiography (stress, transoesophageal, contrast, bubble), cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI. He has led the development of advanced cardiac imaging services at Darent Valley Hospital and is accredited by EACVI (Europe), BSCI/BSCCT (UK), and SCMR (USA).
