My role is that of a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology at Darent Valley Hospital, with a special interest in Maternal Medicine. I provide clinical care for women with gynaecological concerns at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup.
I graduated from medical school in London. I completed my foundation year one post at Darent Valley Hospital. Having had a positive experience, mainly due to the friendly atmosphere, was one of the main reasons for me to take up my consultant post here.
During my specialty training in the East of England region, I became am a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. I have completed advanced training in Maternal Medicine at a leading tertiary centre (Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge). I also have formal qualifications in Advanced Labour Ward Practice and also Medical Education. I am especially passionate about teaching and addressing complex medical problems in pregnancy.
My publication in the peer-reviewed journal The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist was titled Fibroids in Pregnancy: Management and Outcomes.
Darent Valley is the local hospital for both my family and I, and therefore I am keen to ensure that we provide the highest standards of care.
