Mr Mark Watson is a Consultant General, Laparoscopic and Colorectal Surgeon and joined the Trust in 2012. He previously worked as a Consultant in Dorset for 5 years after higher surgical training in the Wessex region with fellowships in laparoscopic surgery around the UK and in Canada. He previously conducted research into genetic and dietary risk factors for colorectal polyps in Cambridge and was heavily involved in the UK Flexible Sigmoidoscopy Screening Study.
