Professor Seshadri (Sri) Sriprasad has been a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Darent Valley Hospital since 2005. He set up important services like the Dartford Stone Centre, a one-stop cancer diagnostic centre, and introduced key treatments such as kidney stone surgery and cryotherapy for small kidney tumours. He specialises in kidney cancer and stone disease.
Professor Sriprasad has held leadership roles in the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and was awarded the John Anderson Award for his work in Urology.
Education & Training:
In 2018, Professor Sriprasad became a Professor of Urology at Canterbury Christ Church University and is the course director for the MCh (Urology) programme. He has published widely, edited medical journals, and served on the NICE guidance panel. He is a teacher and mentor to many Urologists and is often invited to speak at national and international conferences.
