Blood tests at Darent Valley Hospital must be booked – we no longer offer a walk in service. The bookable service is ONLY for requests made by a Darent Valley Hospital consultant, clinician or department.

Department Relocation - From 6 September 2024

Please be aware that from 6 September 2024 the Phlebotomy Service at Darent Valley Hospital will be relocating back to the Main Outpatients Department - Level 2, Junction 8 (Opposite Main Foyer).

 

GP Blood Tests

All GP related requests (12 years and over) are at the Gravesham Community Hospital (walk in service only) or the Fleet Health Campus, Northfleet (your GP will provide you with the booking line telephone number for this service).

GP blood tests are carried out by HCRG Care Group at Gravesham Community Hospital. The opening hours are Monday to Friday (9am to 2pm) – no appointment is necessary, people are seen on a first come, first served basis.

Queen Mary's Hospital

The Adult Outpatient Department at Queen Mary's hospital, provides phlebotomy services for patients 16 years and above for Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust.

Due to the size of our department, we only provide cover for clinics on our site and do not offer a service to local or Dartford GP practices.

Opening times are Monday to Thursday 08:45 to 16:30

                                Friday 09:15- 13:00 then 13:30 to 16:30
