Service Overview
Welcome to the endometriosis service at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust. We are one of specialist centres accredited by the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE). The endometriosis centre consist of a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience and knowledge in providing high quality and evidence based care for women with endometriosis.
What to Expect
We offer a range of treatment options including medical and surgical interventions depending on individual circumstance. We understand the physical, psychological and emotional burden of chronic pelvic pain and aim to provide high quality care and treatment with support by the endometriosis nurse specialist.
Referral Criteria
- Painful or heavy periods
- Pain in the lower abdomen, pelvis or lower back
- Pain during sexual intercourse
- Fertility problems
