Following an attendance at our Emergency Department, patients requiring urgent treatment for broken bones can be seen in our fracture clinic.

Conditions treated include:

  • Orthopaedic fractures
  • Wound care
  • Removal and reapplication of casting
  • Orthotics
  • Removal of sutures
  • Intra-articular injections to joints, hips, fingers and shoulders
  • Removal of external fixators
  • Joint aspirations
  • Removal of ganglions

Our clinics take place Monday to Friday. In order to be seen by the Fracture Clinic team patients will need to be referred by their GP or have attended the Emergency Department first.
